In a world today where there is much war and suffering, peace is the first thing that many people look forward to in this day and age. It is difficult for many to imagine a peaceful world, but it is possible if everyone takes peace into their own hands. Shincheonji volunteers look forward to every moment where peace can be expressed. Through volunteer events such as "Love for the Nation and Sharing Peace," peace is being spread all around the nation and even through media.

Today, nations seek for peace, but more than the nation as a whole, children seek for peace. In a world where there is so much war and chaos, the ones who will fight are those who are young and those who have future dreams. Shincheonji volunteers put in their efforts to make peace happen for those who truly are looking for it. Although it may seem like baby steps, one by one, it will surely fulfill if everyone takes matters into their own hands.

"Love for the Nation and Sharing of Peace" for the 70th Liberation Anniversary

Shincheonji Volunteers host performances to remind the citizens of the efforts made for peace within the nation.

August 15, 2015 marked the 70th anniversary when S.Korea finally became an independent nation. Shincheonji Volunteers hosted an event called, "Love for the Nation and Sharing of Peace," to open remind the citizens of the nation of the love that was fought for a long 70 years. Through this event the atmosphere of the cities within the nation  grew bright in one heart and voice for peace. A variety of performances were showcased to remind the citizens of the joy of being liberated due to the past ancestors who fought so hard for their freedom.

Youth performances opened up the hearts of a new generation that has come for peace.

Some performances were also done by the youth to remind that now a new generation of peace and not war has come. The performances inspired the hearts of many to show that now instead of hating one another, we must come as one and share the love that was given to us. With a voice to end war, the youth brightly expressed their hearts of love through a variety of vocal performances.

Performances lasted until the evening and the event ended with the crowd coming together in oneness with bright shining lights to indicate a spark for love and peace. The event was successful and eternally reminded the people of the nation that peace is achieved by the individual efforts of every single person. It reminded everyone that if they come altogether in love, then peace is possible as it was achieved 70 years ago...

Shincheonji Volunteers take part in show performances that alleviate the hearts of veterans who fought in war

Shincheonji volunteer group hosted an event that was titled, "Love for the Nations Spreading Peace." This event was held to commemorate respect for the veterans who gave up their lives fighting for the nation and for the veterans who live to tell the tale. Veterans of the 6.25 Korean War were honored for their efforts and special performances were done in unison with their hearts in order to stop war and bring peace. Performances were filled with the culture of the nation to remind the veterans that the war they fought was not in vain as it preserved the unique and elegant culture of the nation.

Many people in the audience were able to experience the heart of the veterans and felt an inspiration to make sure that wars are brought to an end for the sake of many lives. A Shincheonji Volunteer said, "Through this meaningful event, everyone was able to feel the pain of war and many were reminded of the preciousness of peace. Furthermore, people of many religions who partook in the war were able to understand the deeper heart of the pains experiences by war veterans." With the much sacrifice of the veterans, Shincheonji Volunteers remind us that volunteering is not for recognition, but that it is truly to be one with those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of volunteer opportunities to exist. Let us never forget the grace and thankful hearts we should have to be living and breathing everyday.

Jesus promised to complete the world of peace mentioned in the prophecy of Isaiah 52:7 at the Second Coming, for it did not fulfill at the First Coming.
When he returns, he first judges the previous world, harvests the wheat from the field where he had been sowing the seed since the First Coming, and lets God reign over the created nation (Rv 6, 7, 14, Rv 19:6).
Who can stand against this work?
As the Lord promised, he found and raised an advocate of peace to speak on His behalf to the churches (Rv 22:16).

The Christian Council of Korea(CCK) declared war again, but the messenger of the Lord who speaks on His behalf is doing the will of the Lord by proclaiming peace all across the world.

This work is the work of peace that Jesus spoke of in Jerusalem (refer to Lk 19:38-44).

I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

What would be the common culture everyone must pursue today?

I believe it is <peace> which is the most superordinate concept and universal value that everyone should have.

Thus, many people have pursued peace and endeavoured for peace.

However, peace is still far away from us.


Peace campaigns paradoxically acknowledge that peace cannot become a reality by some kind of campaign or slogan.

People have overlooked the fact that there is a logical order to accomplish peace as they shout, “Peace! peace!”

Peace can be accomplished when war, which blocks peace, comes to an end.

We must find the answer to the reason for war. The answer is religion. What is ironic is the fundamental principle of religion is peace.

This tells us that religion has already broken away from its fundamental principle.

Religion strayed from its origin not because it was the will of the lord of religion but because man, who was a created being, became greedy.

As a result, the lord of religion left and man pretended like he was the lord of religion.

Consequently, instead of achieving peace, which was the fundamental principle of religion, religion caused disputes, quarrels, dissensions and wars as it could be seen today. This situation must be restored.

The way to restoration is to unite the religions because the lord of the religion is one.

The only way to restore is through truth. When religions are united through the truth, there will be no more wars and peace will come.

This is the order of things and truth itself.

The new era, the era of Shincheonji is created through the culture of heaven

The new era, the era of Shincheonji (i.e. new heaven and new earth), is created through the culture of heaven. Let’s bring peace and restore light for each individual and for the world through the culture of heaven! The one who can accomplish peace and restore light is the person of the culture of heaven, who has seen and heard what was in heaven, and who has received commands from above.



That which enables one to overcome and to renew the creation is the culture of heaven.

Let’s examine some of the great figures from the 6,000 years of the biblical history and their accomplishment. God made promises as well as carried out the work of creation. The ones who testified about God’s promises and creation were the people chosen by heaven. Adam was the first man (the chosen person, the chosen pastor). Noah, Moses, and Jesus were also chosen by heaven afterwards. Siddhartha and Confucius prophesied about the coming Jesus. Who, then, is the pastor whom God has promised through Jesus and his 12 disciples in the New Testament (i.e. NT)? Jesus has prophesied that he would put this promised pastor in charge of all his possessions (Mt 24:45-47).



Let’s bring peace and restore light for each individual and for the world through the culture of heaven!

The pastor promised in the NT is the one who overcomes in the battle agaiRv 2-3, Rv 12). God renews the world through him who overcomes. The creation has eagerly been waiting (Rom 8) for the one who overcomes to appear (Rv 21:7). The creation has been waiting in eager expectation for him to appear because the one who overcomes can liberate them from their bondage to decay and renew them.

The 6th World Peace Festival: Culture and Sports Celebration of Restoring Light, was a joint festival co-hosted by Shinchonji and MANNAM Volunteer- International division.
This event was the festival of God that served the original purpose like that of the Olympic games, ‘achieving peace after ending war’.

The culture of heaven seen on Sept. 16th, 2012, World Peace Festival Culture and Sports Celebration of Restoring Light, hosted at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul, showed a reduction of the book of Revelation, the last of the 66 books of the Bible.

The book of Revelation records the promises made by Jesus, who bore the cross and ascended to heaven 2,000 years ago, and given to Apostle John, showing him what must soon take place through revelation (vision).

The content of these promises are recorded in the Declaration of Independent of our country as well (saying, ‘soon the heavenly culture will renew the world’), which was read by 33 people (16 Christians, 15 Catholics, 2 Buddhists) on March 1, 1919.

John was shown the promises of Jesus and recorded them, and today Shinchonji, which received the revelation from heaven, the open book, has shown their physical fulfillment. This is called ‘the culture of heaven’.
Every four years Shinchonji hosts a national Olympiad of the culture of heaven, and this National Olympiad, the 6th World Peace Festival: Culture and Sports Celebration of Restoring Light, was attended by over 200,000 people, including international press from all over the world, and important public figures, regardless of borders, religions, and races. 

Inside the Stadium, 2 electronic displays were installed and 3 extra displays were provided outside the stadium allowing all the people to watch. Additionally, the event was translated into 7 different languages simultaneously, and broadcasted live through the internet so that tens of thousands of people could watch the scenes of the event.
Just as the title says ‘World Peace Festival: Culture and Sports Celebration of Restoring Light’, it truly was the ‘Festival of God where people can welcome peace after ending war’.

• Appearance of the promised pastor: the end of the previous era and the beginning of the era of new heaven

The angel, who brought the fire of the Holy Spirit from heaven, gave that fire to the promised pastor, and the promised pastor who received the fire passed it on to the twelve pastors (leaders) of the twelve tribes.
The twelve pastors sent the fire to the main torch, and the twelve fires flew and set the main torch ablaze. The fire that was kindled at the main torch went into the eyes and into the hearts of the people who watched, turning into the fire of the Holy Spirit.

This was the festival that moved everyone’s hearts forever.
God established the Tabernacle Temple (the Tabernacle Temple of the seven golden lampstands) and chose the seven pastors (seven stars), which represent the whole world at the end of Christianity.
Satan’s organization (the dragon) entered the tabernacle and destroyed the Tabernacle Temple; the promised pastor who saw this shot the arrow (the word of testimony), and destroyed Satan, scattering them in seven ways.
The promised pastor receives the open book from heaven and proclaims it to the whole world like a trumpet; then he establishes the new kingdom through the people who believes in this word (New Testament and it’s fulfillment).

As a result, a divided nation is unified, world peace and the restoration of light is attained, the Holy Spirit of heaven and the people of the earth unite as one, and kings and servants become one without distinction of rank or position. This is the event of the ‘Festival of God, where flesh and spirit unite at the wedding banquet’.
This is the New Testament, which was promised through the blood of Jesus (Matthew 26:26-29, Luke 22:14-20), the Bible, and the reality of the culture of heaven, the fulfillment of the promise. This event showed the culture of completing the kingdom of heaven on earth as it is in heaven as heaven and earth become united.
