Shincheonji Teaching: Revelation 21

Shincheonji Teaching:
Revelation 21

Main reference verses: Rv 21:1

Why first heaven and first earth passed away in Revelation 21:1?

First heaven and first earth passed away because of corruption and betrayal.

Just as Revelation chapters 2, 3, and 13 state, they worshiped Satan’s beast-like pastors and received the mark on their hands and foreheads.  How is this not betrayal?

This is the same as how Adam and Eve betrayed by listening to the snake’s words.

They are also no different from the pastors and the congregation members of the temple of Jerusalem during the First Coming.

This is not a dream but today’s reality.

Shincheonji Teaching: Characteristics and Actions of the Two Gods

Shincheonji Teaching:
Characteristics and
Actions of the Two Gods

Main reference: 2 Cor 6:14-18

There have been two types of gods in the universe since the time of Adam: the one and only God the Creator and the other, a created being that became Satan.

Satan was originally one of God’s creation.  When he was in Eden, he was an archangel, one of the four living creatures or cherubs. This cherub believed in his own wisdom and betrayed God so that he can become like God. He also masqueraded as God (refer to Ez 28, 2 Cor 11:13-15).

The holy Spirit of God cannot dwell with the wicked, and the evil spirit cannot dwell with the good and righteous. The congregation members belonging to the holy Spirit cannot dwell with the people belonging to the evil spirit (2 Cor 6:14-18).

In the same way, the people of the evil spirit cannot dwell with the people of the holy Spirit. The people of the holy Spirit will speak the truth, which is the word of God, but the people of the evil spirit will speak false teachings, which are lies spoken from the god who betrayed.

They are the pastors who are controlled by the spirit of Satan. Just like Adam and Eve, Satan was the source that caused people to know good and evil. The people of the evil spirit will do whatever it takes to make others commit the sin of betrayal. Good and evil have been in opposition for 6,000 years.

God dwells with people who are good, gentle, and holy, while Satan dwells with those who resemble him—those who leave the way of righteousness, betray, and commit sin and wickedness.  These are the characteristics and actions of the two gods.

Shincheonji, Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

Shincheonji Teaching,
The Tree of Life and
the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

God promised in Ps 78:1-3 to open his mouth in parables and utter ancient secrets to future generations. Eventually, God came to Jesus and delivered those ancient hidden truths through him (Mt 13:34-35).

At that time, the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven were revealed in parables. Since Adam and Eve’s fall story was caused by the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, let us first understand the meaning of the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is a secret no one has been able to comprehend for the last 6,000 years.

Jesus referred to himself as the word (1 Jn 1:1-2), as life, and as light (Jn 8:12; Jn 14:6). He called himself the true vine and his disciples branches that bear fruit (Jn 15:1-2, 5). Jesus explained that the tree of life grows from the seed of the word of life until it is strong enough for birds to come and perch in its branches (Mt 13:31-32).

This is why Jesus received the holy spirit like a dove (Mt 3:16; Jn 1:32). When you take all these parables into account together, it becomes clear that Jesus himself was a tree of life. Thus, the tree of life symbolizes people who are born of the word just like Jesus was. The tree of life in Genesis, therefore, was not an actual plant. It was a person-a son of God born of the word of life (Jn 10:35).

What, then, is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? If Jesus is the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is not a physical plant. If you examine the book of Jude and 2 Pt 2, both make references to the angels who betrayed and the people who betrayed here on earth.

At the first coming of Jesus, Satan fell like lightning from heaven and entered into Judas, and he became someone who opposed [God] (Lk 10:18; Jn 13:2).

Furthermore, the king of Babylon, the kingdom of demons, Nebuchadnezzar, was represented by a huge tree in Dn 4. It had abundant fruit, and birds (evil spirits) rested on it branches. Wild animals found the tree to be their shelter.

This Babylon, in fact, was the organization of Satan that fed God’s churches, which are all nations, with the wine of adulteries, and that caused all nations to collapse, just as seen in Rv 17, Rv 18, and Rv 13. Considering these, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents the spirit of wickedness that betrayed as well as the people who betrayed.

Shincheonji, Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel Story from the Bible

 Shincheonji,
Adam, Eve, Cain
and Abel Story
from the Bible

Satan said to her, "You will not die by eating the fruit of that tree. God knows that when you eat that fruit your eyes will be opened and you will be like God. You will know good and evil."

Eve did not eat the fruit. But, she had listened to what Satan had said. The things that Satan had said stayed in her mind. She allowed herself to think about them. She saw that the fruit of the tree was beautiful, and that it looked delicious. She wanted the wisdom and Satan had promised her.

At last, the desire to eat the fruit became too great for her. She took the fruit and ate it. She gave some to her husband, Adam, who was with her, and persuaded him to eat the fruit also. After they had eaten the fruit, their eyes were opened. They became very ashamed. They knew that they had disobeyed God.

Then Adam and Eve heard the voice of God calling to them. They were very afraid and tried to hide themselves in the trees. God was angry that they had disobeyed him. Adam and Eve were punished. Now all the men and women would know what is like to feel pain, hunger and death.

He made them leave the garden. No more would everything be given to them. From now on they would have to work hard in order to live.

Shincheonji, Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel Story from the Bible

Adam and Eve were forced to leave the garden, and they went out into the world. For a time they were all alone, but God finally gave them a little child of their own.
He was the first baby born in the world. Eve named him Cain. After a while, Eve had another son, whom she named Abel.

While Adam and Eve were living in the Garden of Eden, they could talk with God and hear God's voice speaking to them. But now that they were out in the world, they couldn't talk for a sin with God as freely as before.

So they built an altar from a pile of stones.
On this altar they will place their gifts to God. These gifts would be burned to show that they were not their own, but was given to God.

Adam and Eve would pray before the altar. They would ask God to forgive their sins, all the things which they had done wrong. They would also ask God to bless them and to do good things for them.
When Cain and Abel grew up, they worked before them.

Cain, the older brother, became a farmer. He worked in the fields, growing grain and fruits. Abel, the younger brother, had a flock of sheep. He became a shepherd.

When the two brothers, Cain and Abel, were old enough, they offered their gifts to God upon the altar. Cain would bring some of the fruits and grains that he had grown, and Abel would bring sheep from his flock that he had killed.

They would burn their gifts upon the altar.
Abel would always choose the best sheep from his flock to give to God, while Cain kept the best fruits and grains for himself.

Cain's heart was not right when he came before God. So God showed that he was not happy with Cain and his offering. But instead of being sorry for his sin and asking God to forgive him, he became very angry at God and toward his brother Abel.

Cain became more and more angry with the way "he saw" was treating his brother Able.

One day, when the two brothers were out in the field together, Cain struck and killed his brother. So Cain, the first baby born in the world, grew up to murder his own brother.

The Lord called out to Cain, "Where is Abel, your brother?"
Cain answered like this,,,

Shincheonji, Adam and Eve Story from the Bible

Shincheonji,
Adam and Eve Story
from the Bible

The first day God created light and make the day and made the night.
The second day of His intent He made the heavenly firmament.
The third day came both land and sea, and grass, and herbs, and bush, and tree.
The fourth day sun and moon had birth, and stars that twinkle over earth.
The fifth day, from the waves of strife, God called great creatures into life.
And on the sixth day His plan in His won image God made man.
Then when His work the Lord had blest The seventh day He gave to rest.

The Bible says that the world was created in this way.
But the man, who was called Adam, was all alone and lonely.
God saw this and He said, "it is not good for man to be alone.
I will make a good companion for him."

So God made Adam fall into  deep sleep and then He carefully removed one of Adam's ribs. God used this rib to make a woman.
The woman's name was Eve(Gen 3:20).

God created a garden in the east for Adam and Eve to live in. The garden was called Eden.
In the diddle of this garden stood the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A river flowed into the garden. It separated into four small streams. Many miles away, each of these streams world turn into a mighty river.

The Garden of Eden was Paradise. The land was very rich and beautiful. Many trees produced delicious fruit to eat. Here Adam and Eve were to rule over all the fish that swam in the water, the birds that flew in the sky, and the animals that moved along the ground All the animals world come to Adam and Eve when they called them. The birds sang over their heads as they walked. The fishes came to the side of the lake when they were near. This beautiful Garden was a happy and peaceful place. Unfortunately, this was not to last.

God had given Adam and Eve control over everything in the Garden, except one thing.
There was only one thing that Adam and Eve could not do. If they were to do this one thing they would lose all their peace and happiness.

It did not take long before Adam and Eve did the one thing that God had told them not to do.
The one thing they were not to do was to eat the fruit growing on a certain tree in the Garden of Eden.
The tree that they were a thousand other fruits which Adam and Eve could eat, but this one was forbidden. If they were to eat the fruit of this tree, they would die.

This was God's test of their love. If they loved God, they would not eat the fruit of this tree. If they did not love God they would disobey Him and eat the fruit.
Satan took the from of a large her husband's side, Satan came to her. Satan tried to get Eve to eat the fruit from the tree of life.

Satan said to her,,,

Nakedness & clothing

Adam & Eve 'took off',
Nakedness and clothing

When Adam and Eve 'took off' what was of the flesh and became living spirits, they were new creations. They rid themselves of all that was shameful (Gn 2:25).

After they received and ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, however, they were ashamed of their nakedness. They were so afraid that they hid themselves among the trees of the Garden (Gn 3:10).

Although they began with the holy spirit, they returned to flesh (Gal 3:3) when they accepted the serpent’s lies.

They were dust (mere flesh) that became living beings by receiving the holy spirit, but ultimately they lost the holy spirit and returned to the flesh—they 'took off' their clothes.

Clothes represent the word of God in other words the holy spirit and righteous deeds done according to the word of God.

The holy spirit of God planted the seed of the living word into a field—the heart of his chosen pastor (1 Cor 3:9). After the seed was planted, it sprouted and grew up into a big tree where birds could come and perch.

This tree of life yields the fruit of life, which according to Mt 13, represent people born of the word of truth. This tree is himself a child and fruit of God. Others can attain eternal life by eating this fruit of the word of life (Gn 3:22).
