Shincheonji denies the Apostles’ Creed, because...

The correct understanding of the Bible and the Apostles’ Creed

● Conclusion regarding the Apostles’ Creed

Shincheonji denies the Apostles’ Creed, because ......

As could be seen in Matthew 27, the Jewish chief priests and elders asked Pilate to kill Jesus, but Pilate acknowledged Jesus as a king and announced his innocence three times(Lk 23:4, 14, 22).

The Jews told Pilate that they and their descendants would be accountable for the cost of the sin of killing Jesus. Pilate washed his hand in front of the Jews and handed Jesus over to them.

The Apostles’ Creed was not spoken by the apostles, yet people have been deceived into thinking that it is the apostles’ confession of faith. The Catholic church, which had become corrupt, and the Jews, who thought they were superior to others, put the blame on Pilate in order to avoid the blame of having killed Jesus, as recorded in Matthew 27. The Protestants received this tradition without questioning it and have been keeping it.

Because believers did not know about this fact, they have been believing and confessing the Apostles’ Creed. This kind of action is the same sin as the Jews, the chief priests, and the elders at that time crucifying Jesus (Acts 3:13-15). Believers have not been able to understand in accordance with the Bible and have thus been deceived. Therefore, they must truly repent, be born again, believe in accordance with what is written in the Bible, and receive salvation.

It was not Pilate who was responsible for killing Jesus, but rather the chief priests, the elders, and the Jews, who met at the public council and discussed about how to kill Jesus.

From its very beginning, Shincheonji, which has received the revelation from heaven, has never included the word daegae when reciting the Lord’s Prayer, and it has never recited the Apostles’ Creed.

Such Shincheonji denies the Apostles’ Creed, is he considered as cult?

Which do you think Jesus and the Bible will acknowledge as correct – Shincheonji or the Protestant churches?

Believers who have discernment and who truly believe in the Bible must make a judgment for themselves. Since the Apostles’ Creed are words of deception and words that are added to the Bible(Rv 22:18~19), Christians should not confess and recite it(the Apostles’ Creed).

If one denies the Apostles’ Creed, is he considered as cult?

The correct understanding of the Bible and  the Apostles’ Creed

Is the confession of the Apostles’ Creed biblical?
If not, why was it written, and why do the churches recite it?
And if one denies the Apostles’ Creed, is he considered as cult?
Do you believe really really... Belief in the life everlasting(eternal life)?

  Belief in the life everlasting

While they confess to believe in everlasting life, if anyone mentions “eternal life,” they label him as a cult  and do not believe him.

If they don’t believe in everlasting life, for whom and to whom are they making this confession? The devil? The public council(Sanhedrin)?

We would like to ask the believers who believe in God and his Word.

To say what Jesus, the apostles, and the Bible did not say or to make up something and add to or take away something from the Bible is the same action as changing the set times and the laws God testified about in Daniel 7:25. It is the same as preaching a gospel other than the ones the disciples preached, and whoever does this will be condemned (Gal 1:8). Revelation 22:18-19 says that anyone who adds to or takes words away from the Bible is breaking the law, and will receive curses and plagues.

The people who recite the Apostles’ Creed as their confession of faith have ignored the Scriptures and have added to and taken away from it. ( Rv 22:18~19)
Instead of being stubborn, everyone needs to repent in order to be saved.

Now is the time we need to recall the words of Matthew 24, the events of Revelation 6-18, the words which say that all nations are deceived just as it was in the days of Noah and Lot, and the words of warning which say that all nations have been destroyed because of the wine of adultery (the devil’s lies).

We must remember that everyone will be judged according to their deeds as written in the books (of the Bible) (Rv 20:12).
Lies come from the devil.
To spread lies is to sow the seed of weeds, and those who received the lies have received the seed of the devil. Thus, You must be born again by the word of truth.

The correct understanding About 'The Apostles’ Creed'

Let us examine whether the Apostles’ Creed, which has been memorized and recited by believers of each denomination during worship service, is truly biblical or not.
It is understood that the reason why believers confess the Apostles’ Creed is to follow in the footsteps of the apostles’ confession of faith. With the Bible as the standard, let us find out if the apostles really confessed of their faith as stated in the Apostles’ Creed. If it is truly their confession, it must be in accordance with the Bible.
If the Apostles’ Creed was truly the apostles’ confession of faith, it must be in accordance with the Bible.

Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried

Did Jesus really suffer under Pontius Pilate? Was Pontius Pilate the one who crucified Jesus and killed him? Let us listen to the apostles’ testimonies.
If one looks at Peter’s testimony in Acts 2:22-23, he said that the Israelites, with the help of those who did not the law, put Jesus to death by nailing him to the cross. Also, in Acts 4:8-10, he said that the rulers and the elders of the people (religious leaders) crucified Jesus. In Acts 7:52, Stephen said that although the people of Israel heard that the righteous one would come, they killed him, and thus became the reality of those who were to betray and murder the righteous one.
The Apostles’ Creed, which is supposed to be the apostles’ confession of faith, states that Pilate killed Jesus. Is this consistent with the testimonies of the apostles? If one reads the entire New Testament, there is nothing recorded even similar to the content of the Apostle’s Creed.

On the contrary, in Matthew 16:21(Mt 12:14, 26:4, 59, 27:1...), Jesus predicted that he would suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Are we going to believe in what Jesus and his disciples said, or in the Apostles’ Creed, which was written so that the Jewish leaders could avoid being blamed of their sin and conceal what they have done?

Next, let’s take a look at what John heard and testified regarding what Pilate said in John 19:6.  Pilate said that he found no basis for a charge against Jesus, and he made an effort to release him(Jn 19:12).  The Jews shouted out and said to crucify Jesus. Who really killed Jesus? In Luke 23, Pilate quietly acknowledged Jesus as a king and said three times(Lk 23:4, 14, 22 For the third time he spoke to them: "Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty.) that he found no basis for a charge against him. In Matthew 27:24-25, Pilate declared Jesus’ innocence, took water, washed his hands, and said, “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” and told the people that it is their responsibility. The people responded and said they and their descendants will be responsible for his blood.
As could be seen from above, how can it be said Pilate was the one who killed Jesus?
From John 11:47 and on, it talks of how the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin, plotted to take the life of Jesus, and gave orders to arrest him once he was found because they feared everyone would believe in him if they let him go on doing what he was doing.

Today, as it was in the past, if a person does not have the word of revelation but only teaches man’s teachings, would he let the congregation members of his church go and learn the revelation (truth) from heaven? Wouldn’t he persecute instead? Although a person may claim to believe in Jesus, if he doesn’t know Jesus, who is the Word, he will not be able to welcome the Counselor, the Spirit of truth, who comes in the name of Jesus  (Mt 23:39; Jn14:16-17, 26). As in the time of the First Coming, the leaders will prevent the people from going out to him (Mt 23:13).
The group that God was with became the group persecuted by the evil ones, and the group that the devil was with became the group which persecuted as written in the Bible (Mt 5:10-12; 7:1-2).

Whether it is the First or the Second Coming, the situation is the same. What did the top religious leaders at that time discuss with the elders early in the morning? In Matthew 27:1-2, it says the chief priests and the elders of the people met early and discussed about killing Jesus. In 1 Thessalonians 2:15-16, it is written, “the Jews killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.”

As could be seen from above, we examined whether the Apostles’ Creed is truly biblical. Who really killed Jesus? Was it Pilate? According to the Bible, it was not Pilate but the Jewish chief priests and elders. The Apostles’ Creed says, “…suffered under Pontius Pilate, crucified, died,” but this is a lie in an attempt by the Jews to put all the blame on Pilate after they killed Jesus (Acts 3:13-15).
